President & Lead Floral Designer

I’m Mary Lou, the creative heart behind Buds & Bows Floral Boutique. Born in New York and trained in floral design in New Jersey.

I’ve spent over 30 years perfecting my craft. I love and enjoy my work; there is no better feeling than being able to step back and say, "I created that." Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or celebration of life, I bring a personal touch to each arrangement, ensuring it’s as unique as the occasion it celebrates.

My late husband, Tony—affectionately known as "Tony the flower guy"—and I founded Buds & Bows with a vision of making every floral design special, and that remains our mission to this day. With your support, I hope to continue designing for another 30 years! 

Tonya

Vice President

I’m Tonya, Mary Lou’s daughter and Vice President of Buds & Bows. I grew up in New York and joined the family business full-time after a career in hospitality, where I worked as a server, bartender, and in management.

My late father, Tony, was married to my mom for 45 years and was a significant influence in our business. Under my mom’s guidance, I’ve learned the art of floral design, and today I work side by side with her to bring our clients’ visions to life.

I’m passionate about providing our customers with beautiful, personalized designs that reflect the care and creativity our business is built on. 

Mike

Delivery Driver & All-Around Helper

I’m Mike, Melbourne-born and -raised, and I’m proud to be part of this family-run business. Before joining Buds & Bows, I worked in hospitality, which gave me a strong background in customer service.

I started here as a shop helper, moved into delivery driving, and now I help with anything that needs doing around the shop. I’m also learning floral design from Mary Lou and Tonya, so I can better contribute to the creative side of the business.

I keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, and together, we make sure every order is delivered with care.
